How to get there:
All Windflower properties are easily approachable, and yet incredibly secluded. The road from Mysore to Bandipur is a trip in itself- rolling fields punctuated with yellow sunflower patches, quaint village markets, as you approach forest. For guests travelling by train or air, we can organise a pick-up and drop to the resort upon request.

Best time to visit: Summer is the best time to spot animals gathering around the watering holes in the park. December, January and February constitute mating season, and you'll have your best chance to sight a tiger.
Getting There:
By Road: Bandipur is about 220 kms from Bangalore, 80 kms from Mysore, 80 kms from Ooty and 170 kms from Coimbatore.
By Train: The closest railway station is at Bandipur.
By Air: The closest airports are at Mysore and Bangalore. airstrip is at Mysore. Some buses do stop at Bandipur.
By Bus: Buses en-route from Mysore to Ooty pass through the National Park. You can get off at the Bandipur police check post, and we can arrange for a pick-up from there.

Himadev Gopalaswamy Betta : The highest peak in Bandipur National Park, this hill is best known for its Krishna temple, built by King Chola Bhallala in 1315 AD. Said be blessed by the penance of Sage Agastya himself, the temple receives scores of devotees, and visiting elephants, as well as having the most fantastic views of the sunrise over the park. – (25.kms)
Ooty : The Queen of the Nilgiris is just a 2 hour drive away from our resort. And what a drive it is. Pass through the park, arrive at the Tamil Nadu border, continue into the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, and then ascend the ghat road up the Blue Mountains. Make sure you stock up on home-made chocolates and essential oils, and visit the beautifully landscaped Botanical Gardens. – (86.kms)
